Food was delicious, served hot & came out in a very timely manner. The waiter was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu & selections, and extremely personable. Staff is friendly. Bench seats had small seat spacing. The BEST cauliflower pizza I have ever had!!! Garlic knots were amazing. Caprese salad was delicious!!! Menu is pricing but well worth it. Can't wait to go back!

The menu also offers a variety of appetizers, salads, and desserts, so there's something for everyone. It's the kind of place where you can bring the whole family, or enjoy a casual date night with friends.
On my most recent visit, I decided to try their signature dish, the "Ynot Chicken Parmigiana." I was impressed by how tender and flavorful the chicken was, perfectly paired with their homemade marinara sauce. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served alongside a side of spaghetti, which was seasoned just right. The rich tomato sauce had a slightly sweet tang to it, balancing out the savory flavors in a way that had me savoring every bite.
Another dish that stood out was the "Wood-Fired Margherita Pizza." The crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew. The fresh basil, mozzarella, and tomato toppings were a perfect combination, and the pizza was baked to perfection in their wood-fired oven, giving it that delicious smoky flavor. The pizza was light yet filling, making it ideal for sharing or enjoying as your main course.
Ynot Italian also excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining in a local Italian trattoria. The decor is simple yet elegant, with rustic touches that bring warmth to the space. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff members who were more than happy to offer suggestions or accommodate dietary preferences. If you're not sure what to order, the servers will gladly point you toward their most popular dishes, or you can ask about seasonal specials for something unique.
What sets this restaurant apart from others in the area is the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. Ynot Italian sources fresh produce and meats to ensure that each dish bursts with flavor. They also offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions, making it an inclusive dining experience for all guests.
Beyond just the food, Ynot Italian offers a great selection of wines and cocktails, perfect for pairing with your meal. I opted for a glass of their house red wine, which was smooth and complemented the flavors of my pasta beautifully. For dessert, I highly recommend the "Tiramisu," which was light, creamy, and had just the right balance of coffee and cocoa flavors.
With such a wide range of dishes and a warm, inviting ambiance, itโs easy to see why Ynot Italian has earned a loyal following in Virginia Beach. The combination of authentic Italian dishes, friendly service, and a cozy environment makes it a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to a meal you wonโt soon forget.

Bring a jacket yo! Chilly in here! But large menu, great options for pizzas (hand rolled crust!), salads, pastas, and more. Serious loads of garlic on the garlic knot app, and the accompanying marinara is very good; not too sweet, not too acidic. Tastes very fresh. Chicken parm sandwich large and easily shared by two, with very good bread and well prepared chicken and same marinara. Nice and attentive wait staff. All in all a great meal. Recommend.
Overall, it was a good experience. Started out with touchpad menus, which was very cool. The pizza was very good, non greasy with crust cooked just right. I had stuffed rigatoni with bolognese sauce, which was very good, but the meat seemed a bit bland. I also had a colossal meatball, and that also tasted very bland and a bit expensive for a single meatball. My wife had the cheesesteak with fries, generously portioned on both. They also added an appetizer of chicken bites, which was a mere six pieces for ten dollars. Overall, I would say it was a good experience, with good food and average cost. Presentation was also very good.
Good Food, Service and Atmosphere! Our server was Christi B, she gave great service and good recommendations from the menu. The Lasagna was very good, home made tasting. Husband enjoyed the side of spicy Italian sausage in marinara, and deluxe pizza. They have a good variety to choose from the kids menu as well for the pickiest of eaters. They gave our son some pizza dough to play with at the table while we waited for our food, which kept him entertained the entire time. Overall a good place to eat for Italian food.
The food was hot, fresh and good. Our server was very polite and attentive. However, we had to wait a bit for our food. Other guests who had simple dishes like pizzas got their food before us. At our table we have various pasta dishes and sandwiches and for some reason we waited a good bit for our food! Despite that, portions were large, prices were reasonable and food was hot and good So, all things considered i would still come back again despite the slowness in getting our food...
Generous portions, attentive & friendly staff. The clams and spaghetti needed a little salt and it was perfect. The lasagna was also perfect for our taste. The pizza was fresh, thin and crunchy.
Other than this location not having a full bar, it was excellent!!!
